1.25 pitch bolts

Doc.

Been Around the Block
Hey fellas,

Does anybody know where I can find 10x1.25 allen head SS socket bolts? I ordered some bolts from stainless cycle, but they don't sell anything above 8mm in 1.25 pitch, and I need the bolts for my lower shock mounts and lower triple tree. Any ideas? Same with the acorn nuts for the top shock mounts.

Thanks.

Its a JIS thread pitch so you may end up getting stuff specially made, or, imported from Japan (either is going to be expensive)

Damn. I guess it's time to start looking for the old bolts somewhere in the garage.

I googled M10 1.25 and came up with:

And found some super-cool Titanium ones ;)

I mean really, surely these are worth $30 each? :D

You would have to be insane to buy those bolts. There cool though, I would hope they weigh nearly nothing.

Try here Doc. I get all my wierd bolts and nuts from these guys, expensive but they always have what I want. And the best thing is I can order 24/7 online ;D

Is there supposed to be a link attached?

Oh and I found a couple on Ebay, can't believe I always forget to check there for parts, lol. They're black colored, but it's better than the old rusty bolts. It would come out to just under $20 for 4 bolts. Not bad I guess.

Thanks! Have you ordered their socket head allen bolts before? If so what is the finish on them like? Really dull or somewhat clean looking? The pic seems dull, but it doesn't have the best lighting either.

Thanks for that link. I have been looking for a couple of 10*1.25 cap screws and really didn't want to pay 45 bucks a pop for Titanium. I have a few Ti cap screws in the shop but no 10mm. They weigh roughly half of a steel bolt and aluminum weighs half of that again (roughly). Great way to lose weight but at a heck of a cost.

re: the x1.25 fasteners:

I'm fortunate enough to live near three (!) sources of specialty fasteners. I think all of them will ship:

Bowlin Equipment - 510-527-8282 - no website
Mr. Metric - 877-871-4618 - www.mrmetric.com
Harrison Bonini - 866-442-2658 - www.hbbolt.com

Between these three, I've never not been able to find what I need.

Thanks! The site cqyqte posted is a great site as well. They had everything I need, just not polished.
