Pulling apart a 76 KZ400d3 motor for a rebuild, this is what I found behind the stator cover. Is corrosion on the starter clutch a big deal? Also, should there be oil in there? A good bit ran out when I cracked the cover open. There's a small gap between the cases that I can see. There's also these fine little "fibers" in there floating around and some built up crud. I tried to get some good pictures. What do I need to do to fix this? I'm assuming these are not normal conditions. Thanks for any guidance.
