XL125 running bad

So my XL125 is runnning like crap again. Last time it ran shitty we replaced
the advancer and the points, put a new sparkplug in and adjusted everything so valves, points, ignition timing all of it.
Ran fine for a while. Then started fiddling with a cheap powerfilter and stuff. Thought that was the problem but with the stock filter back in place it still runs like crap.

Oh sparkplug was kinda dark where as it was lighter before.

Anybody here that can kinda guess what's wrong?

Im just throwing stuff out there, and dont know much about that bike. If it runs good at first and then does that it could be a secondary coil or the carbs are not pumping the fuel, and make sure your getting enough fuel to the carbs my.02 one more thing let a little gas out of your float bowl, it could have some water in it!
 
Pretty dark, but used to run fine with the same main jet as it has right now
I guess I should try my other carb to see if the same problem remains
 
I think I should buy a new sparkplug too, carb got completely cleaned last time it was crappy.
Stock jet that worked fine is in there.

I'm glad with the input ofcourse so im not declining any of your suggestions. Sparkplug is the least effort to try out first
because I have the feeling the last one broke aswell. This one is pretty new too.

IF the sparkplug is the problem, what can cause them to break so soon?
 
Hmm went to work on it this weekend and I had some clearance on the camshaft…
guess I'll just pull the motor and do a rebuilt
