You can add attachments and edit posts/attachments just hit the browse button again and click the image you wanted, the "modify" button top right of the post allows you to go back and edit the post.

Now as for the crash bar/hoop... you can make one from it for sure, just chop cut re-weld... use a zip tie to mark it up and as a cut guide if needed.
