RG250

Careful With That Axe Eugene
I just picked up an RG250. It is in pretty good shape maybe 7 out of 10.
Does anyone have any insight into this bike? I am going to bring it closer to 10, maybe upgrade suspension and brakes too, not sure.

Post some pics. Then check out the rgv forum. They have a section for the rg series: http://www.rgv250.co.uk/forums/

I pick it up in a few days and I will take some pics then. This bike is ultra-smoke, the tach does not even register until 3k, power band is about 2k wide. I did see a pic of one that was Cafed and it looked very nice...

I've joined that forum, have yet to exhaust it though. I'm guessing that not much more porting can be done although maybe cleaning the ports up and milling the head might help.

This is the RG350 that I bought. I need fasteners to attach the rest of the fairing. It is a real hoot to ride :)))

Fantastic little bikes.. had many many good rides on mine...love the sensitive engine/throttle...no engine braking..super fun

Yes, no engine braking :) The power band makes my RZ350 feel like a thumper.

Smokers sound so sweet when they are on the pipe.
