Special effect? I think I've got it!

There's a guy at one of the local bike nights that will photograph your bike and turn it into art. He has some great pics on display and does great work. He also doesn't mind charging for it either! $$$

So, I've been messing with a few pics and I think I've got it. I found I need to use 2 separate programs to get the effect he has. It wasn't quite working out till I did it this way. Here's a sample pic:

If you like the effect, post up a pic of your bike and I'll see what I can do.

Some pics work better than others. Sometimes the background overwelms the pic and doesn't look right. I think your pic worked pretty good though.

Looks like a level bump with posterize and brush stroke filters.


Photoshop is an amazingly powerful tool...

Yep, go ahead and send me some pics. Like I said, results vary depending on exposure, background, etc. The pic you like the best may not yield the best results. I'll try though
