I am about to rebuild the engine on my 1974 Kawasaki G3SS. The previous owner managed to seize the piston in the bore. Luckily the bottom end is fine I just need a new piston and ring set. I know that Kawi changed the piston height around 1975 by 7mm, Can any one point me to a reliable source for a piston pin rings and small end bearing? I want to go 1-1.5mm over sized. Or can I get a piston from a 100 and bore 2.5mm over?

I sent you a PM. The Kawasaki G3/G4 motors were so similar that it's possible that the G4 100cc cylinder will bolt straight on the G3. I have a G3 bottom end plus G4 cylinders at home and can check but can only do that on the weekend.
In the meantime, please can you measure your G3 cylinder:
1) Overall height of liner.
2) Distance from top of liner to bottom of exhaust port.
3) Outside diameter of liner at the base gasket.
