I work, it gets dirty but at a certain point I stop and put everything away, sweep up, clean up, then start working again, otherwise you spend more time looking for tools than using them.

Amen, brother.

I put these pix p a long time ago but I figured I'd put them up here and then delete the other thread. This is my shop. It's 20X14 and, no, isn't normally as clean as these pix show.

My little corner of our place. One car garage, but hey its better than none =)

Gets a little cramped at times but like mentioned by others, it is better than having no roof over the bikes.

haha true, all kinds of room without the car in there... I held out for a while to keep it parked in there, but I am afraid those days may be over now haha

This was it with the car in there =P

This is my little slice. Me and the wife built it from the ground up less only pouring the concrete (we dug the footings and set the forms) and no nailing shingles. I prefer the old metal furnishings from the industrial age if I can find it and some has been with me a long time, I gave all but my boxes to my son when I moved from NE to TN so much of what I have now is new or new used... never intended to tinker again, but here we are.

Very nice! You and the Mrs do good work. I paid a couple of Amish guys (yup, named Yoder) to give me four walls and a roof then we finished the rest. Wish I had room on the lot to put up something the size of yours.

Love the setup. I assume moving from NE to TN is similar to my move from Philly to Georgia. You get so much more for the buck.

Checko and myself have this space

that was a bit over a year ago when we first moved in, pic taken on a ladder about 1/3rd of the way from the back wall. We've got about 1500sqft. It's quite a bit more full nowadays.

Here's from about 10' in from the garage door

I left 300 acres and a 60X90 shop for a 30X50 and a bungalow in the hood lol so the trade is expensive in another way. Work moves are tough for young people but us older dudes have less holding us down i guess, but I sure miss wizzing out the back door of the shop and shooting from the deck... we had a 8/10 mile MX track a mini pitbike track flat track anywhere you wanna put up cones... yeah rents cheap but livins a long ways from here ;)

I just got through them all... I have to say, I'm impressed more by the little shite holes than the hoarder jackpots LOL... how do some of you honestly get along in those tiny spaces. The garage apartment is an old dream I will never realize but glad someone is living it.

Hats off to all of the garage grunge junkies... Cheers! Prost! ZUMWOHL! however you like.

You want my Roadrunner? At 17' long it literally takes up half of my shop. LOL

Mine's still a work in progress. It was reeeeeal slow going for a while, but is starting to move along nicely these days.
16x24. It's in the backyard, so it's for the bikes only.
Relatively recent exterior shot...

Interior from about 2 weeks ago...
FullSizeRender_zpsb68493a5.jpg

Working on insulating/finishing the interior walls so I can build/install permanent benches. Then the exterior platform and cover for the compressor will get built. From there I'll call it "Done".

Pretty small and cramped...but it keeps them and me dry
