Going to smaller front wheel question

I have a 72 CB500 I'm gonna build and I'd like to switch from 19" front to 18" front to match the rear 18". Just cause I like the symmetry of matching wheels on cafe bikes. I know the basics of geometry where smaller front means it should turn in slightly quicker but is that it? That small amount of diameter change shouldn't make any negative noticeable impact on the handling right? I can keep the front hub and just get new size spokes and rim I assume. Can I go for it without regrets?

Thanks-

That's what I thought, probably not enough to be an issue - thanks for the help appreciate it
Here's my previous build - 1970 CL450 that I did a frame off restomod. My first build and I LOVED it but I don't want to be constrained by restoring again I want to custom build so this new CB500 project excites me with the possibilities.
