RC 181 Exhaust

I've been looking all over the world wide web for a 4-4 exhaust that's similar to the RC 181 set up. It doesn't seem to be mass produced by anyone in particular. Are all these replica exhaust custom made? Anyone know who builds or makes them?

The sound is unreal if you've ever heard them, and they seem like a great solution to an open/free flow exhaust. Plus, they look super good to me.

It seems all these old race bike go 4-4 or 2-2 oppose to 4-1 or 2-1. Why is that? Just people shooting for the replica look or does it actually perform better? Did they not think of that back then? I'm a total noob. Thanks for the info.

Honda didn't even mass produce the RC 181. As far as the pipes go that's the way they built them until Triumph came up with the three into one on their triple. If you want those pipes you are going to have to build them yourself. I don't believe you'll find ready mades.

I understand they weren't massed produced, but I've seen a few replicas out there, including cb500 knock-off production style bikes; which made me curious as to if someone was making them. Guess it's about time I've found someone that knows how to custom make exhaust. And then it's time to find another job. The replica tanks alone are an arm-and-a-leg.

There is someone in England that makes them. They cost a pretty penny but pretty much every racer replica part from that era does. Lord Moonpie I think his name was?

Edit: Found his site

They're CR750 exhausts, not RC181s. Still pretty similar though.
