What did you do today instead of working on your bike project?

So today I was going to wrench, but I got a call and a buddy not far away had to have a huge tree cut and knew I burn wood. So I went and brought a trailer load of logs home and cut and split it instead of working on the GL or the sons wheeler.
Splitting by hand with a maul. You should see the trunk. Havent got to it yet. 3-4' in diameter. Going to take more than my 20 lb maul.
Those are just branches

Finished putting the hardi siding on my shed. Hands feel like I've been holding sand paper all day.

Im in the electronics district of Huaqiangbei in Shenzhen China.Actual been here two months so done no wrenching at all and only seen one bike over 150cc since I've been here. Withdrawl symptoms are kicking in.

Very cute. I think your dog wanted a go
Haha. He's a cattle dog, so we couldn't figure out if he was trying to lick her or nip her. Anything that moves quickly makes him tweak.

Picked up some crown molding for our bedroom and started gathering materials to build an aquarium stand

I built one of these...

to hold me over until some parts arrive..

Did the final "break in" oil change on the new motor in the Stepside, showed younger son how to adjust the belts and plug a tire on his Nissan, went to lunch with older son and his Parran (they haven't seen each other since older son got back from Afghanistan), and finally (to the wifes joy) I moved the CB750 out of the house and into the shop.
