Yes another but all mine 75 CB360 Build

Haha! I was going to polish them but I'm thinking they would look better in a Matte Black. A buddy of mine said I should patina then clear coat the frame instead of getting it powder coated but I dunno. The rusting just doesn't stop after it's clear coated does it? I haven't researched any of that yet.

Powdercoat ing the frame is definitely the best choice. I would consider making the frame silver... I wish I had done that myself. I think it looks really good. Hahah don't listen to your friend. The less rust on your frame the better

I was thinking powder would be the best way to go. I don't think the patina would match my motor very well anyway. Silver is an idea for sure. I might end up flipping a coin to decide.

Did a little sanding on the tank for my wife's cafe. I'm going to leave a little paint on the tank, let it patina then clear coat. If it doesn't look good we'll go with flat black as she likes the flat black look. I still have some more sanding to do but it's close to the look I want.

It does look good as is but she want's a little more tarnish to show on it. I plan on sanding the other side tonight.

What's the best way to remove the gas cap from the tank?
As in, the gas cap is inside the tank where the gas is supposed to go? Is this a monkey with a hand full of grubs stuck in the grub hole kind of riddle?

I used a Framing nail and a hammer and carefully drove mine out. I used a cotter pin in replacement when they went back in since I know I will be needing to take them off some time again. If you are careful you can square off the round end with a hammer and vice to hid it and just trim the other ends down once bent to hide it

Thanks man good tip!

Well I spent the weekend trying out my new welding machine. I built a welding cart for it and had to add a special touch for the cord and hose hangers. :)

Started to mock up the lady this week. Needed to prepare for the seat build which will come in a few weeks. I've got a shape in mind.

Got a little work done tonight on my speedo. I added a signal and neutral indicator. Also painted the white trim red to match my tank.

Please excuse the carpet tile. Our GSD is recovering from knee surgery and slips on the hardwood.

Wow that looks great, man. Clean work on those indicators. If you want em, I have a bunch of spare LED bulbs that just plug right in to to the gauges... Ba9s if I remember right.

I'm finally going to Willies today, btw. I'll let you know how it is
