Powdercoating covers ??

How many of you have your valve covers powdered? Is it safe to do a CB 350F with the cam bearings being part of the cover? Just worried about the heat and it not being torqued down...possible warpage or am I being paranoid ?

Following to see what others have to say as I am considering powder coating the five engine covers.

I don't see any issues, use a reputable shop or buy the right materials and all will be fine. You do know high heat coatings are available too if your really concerned, you can even coat the cylinder with no worries.

I can powder it myself...I was more worried with the valve cover warping...Does the cover under normal operating temps go over 400F...

no hell no but 400 may not do harm
if you have a way to media blast it go with gunkote it is better for this app than powder coat bakes at only 300
