1980 cb750f bogging at full throttle

Hello! I have a 1980 cb750f with dual kerker exhaust, bst31 carbs with dynojet kit and pod filters. Bike rides well and runs well under normal conditions. When under a little bit of a load though going to full throttle quickly the bike will bog. I'm thinking it is running out of fuel and I should raise the needle a notch? Any input would be appreciated!

It may be a little lean actually. Try lowering the clip on the needle. My cr’s were bogging a little at mid range and my plugs showed it. I dropped the clip and she pulls great now. If you richen it and it’s still bogging then go the other way. I was told it was better to be a little rich then to be too lean.

make sure your pod filters do not occlude the intake tract in any way shape or form

or it can interfere with the slide sensing port
