didn't want to bash your vision when you went with the bright green, but i'm glad you're changing it. it's cool and different and all, but it just never felt like it "fit." just my opinion. can't wait to see what you've got in mind!

Soooooooo !

I have chosen the colour I never wanted , black 8)

Well not black,it's a satin metallic black,think non stick pan colour,the tank will also be going the same way,

Also made a decision to make a belly pan , out came the cardboard

This build is a huge inspiration for my XS400 plans. Thanks for documenting it so well! I'm also a car guy turned bike guy, and have built some stuff with similar style, so I'm really digging the work you've put into this. Keep it up!

I think it may look even better if you drilled the rear disk and painted the inner part gold to match the front. Whatta you say?

Totally agree with you on that, just haven't had the time to finish the details on the bike
