Just got this fabled bike three days ago and its been raining with dropping temperatures ever since. So I couldn’t take it anymore and decided Im going to ride today damnit! 45 degrees drizzling rain on the new slick tires. Its fun regardless, slipping the rear tire on those tight intersections bracing oneself for torque gods. So far low temp break in shifting seems choppy and why do I hear a buzzing sort of noise while braking on the front? Time will tell I suppose.
Been thinking about one or a FZ1 ! How's the wind blast on the 09 ? Had a 919 and was a great bike just didn't like not haveing a fairing on long rides .
Front wheel came up after refueling at a large intersection and a quick oh f*ck with a big grin on my face.
The bike resets to STD mode everytime you turn it off and I was getting comfortable with it in B mode.
Wind blast are as expected for the naked bike with no windsheild and it gets wiggly as it just weighs in around 400ish lbs.
Ive got the front cowl to put on it still but Im not expecting much from it. Ill probably just ride my cruiser for any 400+ mile trips as of now.
The real problem is... its so FUN, Im losing interest in my other bikes.
