I have installed a set of rearsets from a GSXR on my KZ1000P. The only thing I need is the linkage rod from the GSXR. Does anyone happen to have a spare rod, or at least the thread dimensions for the heim joint on the GSXR side?
I bypassed the GSXR linkage, and used the Heim joints from the KZ's heel-toe shifter. I had to shorten and reweld the linkage rod, but it works well now.
The peg end of the rod is a left hand thread on the GSXR600 set up I used. I shortened mine on the other end, where it connects to the tranny's shaft, which is normal RH thread.
liliysdad, do you have some pictures of this KZ1000P project to share?
