cl350 scrambler

Hey guys, picked up a clean, stock, CL350 twin and have some questions. Plan on keeping this one stock.

Adjusted valves, timing, cleaned carburetors and she starts right up.

Am having some idle issues- seems very erratic, sometimes it likes to hover at high RPMS before dropping down.

Also very unresponsive in the lower RPMs, specifically taking off from a stop. I have to rev the hell out of it to get it to move. Some people I have talked to said "that is just the way that they are".

Did you remove ALL the jets including the emulsion tubes? Did you just spray carb cleaner or did you soak them in carb dip?

Yes, I removed the emulsion tubes, checked the rubber diaphragms, etc. jets are clean. Timing is spot on. Statically timed it with my homemade buzzer box and confirmed with a timing light. Carbs butterfly's are synced but I'm having trouble synching idle.
