The big stuff !! Woohoo. How do you plan on spraying it? I have been wanting to attempt to flake something just to give it a try.
Spraying with a TCP Global HVLP gun and a 2.5mm tip.

Do you put it in the base coat or the clear?
I'll be laying the flake in a flake carrier. It's an intercoat that's similar to a clear coat, but is formulated to help suspend and orient the flake.

I have seen guys use it in videos. Can't wait to see how it turns out. I may get the nerve to try it someday. My spray gun has a 1.8 tip I can switch to so I won't be going that big on the flake.

I saw this in my instagram feed and thought of you. The fur makes it all come together....

Ha! I strangely wouldn't mind having one of those jawns.

Breaking out the panty dropper again. Converting the rear end to accommodate a GX200 engine and an axle with a differential. More pics to come.

My Motorsports Engineering clsss is moving to electric motor and a 3 wheel cycle car design, which means I’m allowed to reclaim the original Tri Rod rear end and the GX200 engine. I made adapter plates and drill out the rims to fit the race cart hubs. I lowered the rear end significantly from my first layout, and narrowed the rear end several inches.

Looking good. Beefy. What's "Blue Hare"?
A ceramic glaze. That's an old glaze bucket. I replaced my round buckets in the studio for square buckets, since they store better.

A ceramic glaze. That’s a old glaze bucket I now use to collect oil. I replaced my round buckets in the studio with square buckets since they store better.
Blue Hare is the bottom glaze, Chun is the top glaze, the band in the middle is where I dipped the bowl in the Chun and overlapped the Blue Hare.

A little more figuring out:

I’m still using a bunch of parts from the rear end of the Chinese buggy. I especially like how they made the engine cage adjustable. I have flipped that cage and I’m hinging it from the front instead of the rear. I still need to figure out how I’m going to make the rear mounts and I have a bunch of stuff to cut off this cage, too.

Looks fantastic Eric. I wouldn't mind fitting up a set of tires like those on the back of that HD cart I'm working on.
