Re: My 1976 CB750F Build

i have a soft spot for the early Fs.
what are your plans for it?

Re: My 1976 CB750F Build

Knee dents, Cafe seat, Flat black everything with red accents, Black tires with chrome spokes, Black exhaust, Chrome muffler.
A few things I'm trying to figure out is battery relocation and rear sets.
I'll have to see what room I have to work with for the relocation once I get the seat...

Re: My 1976 CB750F Build

Great starting point. Clean F! I look forward to watching your progress...

surffly, I just looked at your 750F post.
AWESOME!

thanks .

for rearsets you can get bolt on ones but they run $300ish
if not for alot of people you can use the pass peg mounts.

spend what ever money you have on getting the bike running 100% in stock form. it will save you sooo much in the long run and will make a better bike in the end.

Re: My 1976 CB750F Build

New parts came in the mail today.
Roc City Interceptor seat and a Lossa tail light.
I love this light, nice size, good way to mount, really nice pig tail harness.

I need to figure out how to mount this seat without covering the side covers.
I'll post that in the cafe help section.

Mac Megaphone Muffler fits the stock header very nicely.

Re: My 1976 CB750F Build

Got the seat mounted, though I think the rubber stopper I'm using as spacers are too weak.
After taking 1" off the Roc City Interceptor seat, I think the line is really nice.

Re: My 1976 CB750F Build

I've done a few things, and I'll post pics once I get the bike somewhat together.

Rebuilt front forks
Removed all tabs from rear triangle section
Rebuilt and painted rear caliper
Stripped and painted rear swing arm
Rebuilt gauges
