Project peer pressure ADV danger bike!

Bike looks great Kiley. Wouldn't expect anything less come out of that shop though. Good on ya.

I haven't been slacking. Wiring is in process and exhaust is done. Modified Supertrapp system off of a YFZ450:

Got the CDI and charging system wired and I'll be damned if she doesn't have spark! Assembled parts from all kinds of bikes that don't go together for the ignition and charging and it ticked over a fat blue spark. I was ecstatic about that.

Gotta order an exhaust clamp for the muffler and a speedometer. If all goes well I will try to fire her off in the next week. Only real fabrication work left is the air filter system.

Where did you get the nifty fuse block? I am going to need one for the GL when I hack the wires up.

Came from Amazon Mike. Got good reviews.

Ass end wired, brakes bled. Waiting for the headlight control switch and a speedometer, along with some random bits like oil filters and carb boot clamps. She's very very close.

I wish I could say Nice Rack....but you got no Rack....soo.....Nice Sacks....

Rack coming, just need to either find a suitable donor or just fab one up. But thanks for the sack compliments

Sometimes forgetting you have things stashed away from previous builds yields rewards. This came with a project years ago and turned up in a box of parts digging around today. I believe that'll work just fine.

What model Vapor instrument panel is that one & do you need different sensors ?

Not really sure, looks like it is just the standard vapor.

And yes it has multiple sensors for different things. I'll probably run a standard magnetic sensor for the speed and a single wire to the tachometer and be done. That's really all I need on this bike.

That's how I ran mine on the drz. With the exception of the coolant temp sensor. That thing was awesome.

Rock on. No coolant on the DR, so no worries there. Don't need anything too fancy.
