our shop has paired with paper crown art gallery and we are now going to be offering a whole line of custom tins... started work on the first one this week... remember this is just the start of the tank it is not even close to finished

There we go, some excellent gallery quality paint work on a bike tank! I like it, I like it a lot.
 
here she is completed... i will give it a week then clear and sand it

Tank is sick Joe, Love it when people pour their talents into something. Awesome to put the artist to work and now that tank has some soul. Cant wait to see that under clear
 
Justin i do not... but i do have some of the other art works that Dennis has done with the panda... they are all really good guys i have been friends with going all the way back to freshman year High School... so tallented and are totally out of the box with their work... so it was only natural that we kind of found a nitch to work together... this way working with our shop we can get some completely trick work on the road

I like the crow tank. Kind of erratic but organized. Will you guys be offering any cafe style tanks?
 
you can send yours and we can strip and do yours of course... but i am going to finsih up and do the tank dent CB tank i have... as well as pick up a few CB750 tanks to offer on exchange... just have to wait to see what the market does.. the sporty guys and harley guys tend to be the ones that spend the money on paint work, so we first have to lean on that... then we cna branch out and offer other lines/models but anythign that is sent in we can do of course... you know me i ride them all from scooters - harley if it has wheels and a motor i love it!
 
That makes sense. I'm always open to paint ideas for my CB500. Your powdercoated items always come out looking great too.

that crow tank is incredible! what was used to paint it? i've had a raw sportster tank sitting around for a few months and i've been trying to figure out what kind of paints are good, or not good, to use on it. i wanted to do something artistic on it, but i'd also like for it to be usable and not fade or anything.

I know pinstripers use "one shot" and I have a ton of that stuff from my old sign job but what is good for just straight up painting....and can you ever get an even clear over it ?
