About 5 weeks ago , I found this old bird sitting in a shed.
First stop was Cafe Racer because they look awesome with that Monoshock , after thinking about it and looking at prices I decided to this spring this old bird back to life with a new-age Twist.
First I started on the engine as you can see it wasn't in very good shape first picture is what it looks like up close second picture is after day one.
I found the ultimate aluminum polishing trick , all you need is a die grinder and a .06 wire brush take it straight to the aluminum until it shines then hit it with some 400 grit sandpaper and finish it off with mothers metal compound .
I used my new discovery on all of the wheels , Forks, motor basically anything that is aluminum or metal got wire brushed.
I originally was going to go with black however every in Virago 500 I've seen are black for the most part. So after running out of black paint I went down to the parts house to get some more comma I seen the silver and didn't quite think about it I bought it and tried to spray it directly over the black paint needless to say it didn't work. Never been person that easily gets up so for Coach later this result.
The seat is at the upholstery shop right now and after paint cures and my white wall tires get here I'll update this post thanks for reading I hope you guys enjoyed.
Treat your bike like a woman...care for her and respect her with everything you got....cause if you don't...that sexy beautiful little bitch will Fuck you up!
