Bike is now running but the idle is low (sub 1k). Pistons are Bore-tech 65.5mm and this is essentially a new bike. I’ll post a video tomorrow morning if anyone is interested. Not sure if I’ll need new jets or something else.

Check fuel screw settings, probably need to be screwed in 1/2 turn. It's running rich at idle but also way too slow, bump throttle stop screws up a bit so it idle's 900~1100 rpm. Just had as look at the carbs you dropped off the other day, the spring on fuel screw is too long on these so screw is held out way too far. I know these were parts carbs but Ross may not have checked? Screw is next to manifold under throttle stop lever

I found the other float online. I believe these are early mode carbs. I also found a site that sells jets for modified bikes.

I took the pods off and she ran a little better without an air filter. I’ll have to play with everything some more tomorrow night.

Hey - nice build. I'm curious - can you explain or post some pics of your final arrangement with the battery tray, solenoid and reg/rec? Also, what did you do about the front brake light switch?

O2 sensor is a good idea. The rental per week isn't too bad, plus they will take it off a new one if you decide to buy/

@Knoxes thank you. Here are some pics, taken from the rear wheel, then left side & right side. Hope they help answer your question.

PJ, my only fear is drilling the pipes.

But we’re gonna doit anywayz!

Just a thought. The carbs looks somewhat corroded in those pics where we can see the mouth (inlet) or the carb. Are you absolutely sure that the internals of both crabs are spotlessly clean including jets and all the tiny passageways?

No, I didn’t rebuild and clean these carbs. I had someone do it for me and I think you’re correct. The good news is that PJ is rebuilding and modifying my spare/parts carbs.

I haven't looked at the carbs on the bike, wasn't me who did a shitty job. I'll be doing the usual modifications to the spare carbs, when they are on bike we can see about drilling exhaust and fitting O2 sensors

Smart move. PJ is the man to get those carbs working.

Brake vent screens installed!

Screens look great.

I don't know anything about rims or spokes. So Im gonna ask about the fit of the nipples in the rim.

The nipples look small for the holes. Is it ok w that much wiggle room? Maybe just appears exaggerated by the white rims.
