I really like the lines on the front of that headlight bucket and trim ring. What did you use, got a link?

Its actually from a Harley I got it on eBay

I actually meant the bucket and ring, not the "bulb" ;)

Got the bucket from dime city cycles

well I was thinking of flattening out all those humps in it so I could still use the original mounting and locking brackets
I was thinking of doing something similar with mine. I had noticed that the KZ1000 Police solo seat actually has "wings" on either side that hang down and visually take up the blank area between the side panels and the seat. That got me to thinking that a solo seat mounted to the top of the OEM pan (maybe with similar "wings") might get me the seat height I'm looking for and still retain all the OEM locks/hinges/underseat access.

so the weather was nice enough to do some work on my bike
I cut off some tabs and mounted the electrical box

So Saturday I Romed around the Internet looking at seat designs, for my bike, I was originally going to modify the stock one but after doing some thinking I'll be going with a Dimond patterned brat seat
