it works! 1968 Cb450 K1 revived! idle mix problem

hey it works! no blue smoke after running 5 min, then some minor leaks to be tended to under the points and at the sprocket,
noisy at first! those dohc's are loud. a little miss & popping on the right but carb probs, low speed adjustment plugged, but it works. won't go thru all the gears on the centerstand but will probably work ok on the road.

i wonder why the idle mix won't adjust properly - could be the float too low, not enough gas in bowl? can turn it in all the way with little effect on both sides.
oh well offf they come, got more sets in the basement.

Hiya, love the CB i was looking for one of these in the uk, or suzuki T500 but both are rare here. Also i have some carb problems at the moment !!!!! getting bored of fiddling with it ...

someday i'm geting one of those, for now , a rusty old k6 for me, maybe with the k1 tank
