New member with a new project

Been Around the Block
My '72 CL175. A work in progress. I have a solo seat, bar-end mirrors, and other parts on the way. I'll post more pics as the project progresses.

Re: New member with a new project (update)

Most of my time has been spent getting the carbs sorted and running right, but I've gotten the solo seat on (still need to finish upholstry), a funky taillight I had laying around trying to find a use for, and a set of bar-end mirrors. Still waiting for shocks to arrive. I'm kinda undecided about paint at this point.

That's a cool looking paint job now... stock looking but the knee indents let you know it's not.

I'd be tempted to do the same paint on the seat... would be something different and it would look cool! Nothing like a double take 8)

And welcome to the board!

As per previous posts - the stock paint is coool. Listen to CanadaDan - do up the seat the same (sorta) way.

It'll look awesome - either that or sell the stock tank with the nice paint and get a junker that needs to be painted.
