Been Around the Block
My original thread on this build is here http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=44456.0
The project has been on hold while spooling up some more funds. Last weekend my brother hit me with an infusion of capital, so off to the internet i went, and parts were on the way.

The new Mac 2-1 exhaust also came in and was put on. The bike started up nearly right away. That's the good news. The bad news is that the carbs are total shite. They have a huge glob of JB weld repairing who knows what. Even working perfectly, these were pretty much shite carbs when new. The plan is to replace them with Mikunis. I would love some input on which ones to use for this application and jetting etc. as this is new territory for me.
Anyway, yesterday I put what I have together and rolled it outside for a few shots. Things left to be done: Finish painting tank and fenders, replace carbs, touch up and polish wheels, add turn signals and mirror, turn it over to by brother to ride the hell out of.
