Can someone help ID this bike?

I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong
This is my wife on her mothers bike 50+ years ago. I was thinking it was a BSA of some kind, but now I'm not so sure. Any Help?

i had forgotten about horex but only had herd about them

The picture isn't the clearest, couldn't make out the logo at all when enlarged. Like I said
kind of thought it was a BSA at first, but the engine side cover, logo etc. didn't look right.

Now my wife says, "Find me one", and I'm like "$$$$"
I guess it was a 400cc twin.

Left side kicker / shifter. I'd suggest it's a Jawa 350 twin.

The motor is from a Triumph however, as the original Horex became impossible to find parts for.
