1978 Honda CB750f Supersport Survivor- SOLD

You've been mostly-dead all day.
DTT BOTM WINNER
Up for sale is a 1978 Honda CB750 Supersport. NO TITLE. Georgia Bill of Sale will accompany the sale of this motorcycle.

The story:

This motorcycle was part of a complete estate sale after the previous, and original, owner passed away. This bike was kept in climate control storage since it was last registered in 1982. The original title is lost. Georgia doesn't require, or reissue titles on vehicles older than 1986.

Very little was done to this motorcycle in an attempt to keep it as an original survivor. The only parts replaced are the side covers, which were missing, and the front brake lines. The front brakes were seized, so the lines were replaced and the calipers cleaned and un-seized. The carbs were removed and cleaned, but the bike has only run off of a bottle. I changed the oil and cleaned the carbs only to prove it runs. No fuel has been added to the tank, as it has remained rust free. I have done my best to highlight the very few blemishes in pics. These include a small rust patch on the muffler, a small ding on the tank and two small scratches on the tail piece. It has obviously been tipped over at least once, as indicated by the stator cover and the end of the leftside handlebar. This is otherwise a nearly perfect, original Supersport. All original yellow factory torque marks still exist. The seat is perfect. The owners manual is under the seat. The tires are original, factory tires that hold air, but they are split and dry rotted. There are 3466 actual miles.

Obviously, to make this a street-able motorcycle it will need to be completely gone through. Tires and chain will need to be changed. I make no false claims about the motorcycle, as it's in amazing shape without the need of any bullshit. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions. I will provide any information I have and more pictures upon request.

A note: This was listed and sold in auction on eBay in October. The winner never paid or completed the sale. I gave him several months to work out pickup, and I was even contacted in February by his driver. If it looks familiar, that may be why. I also posted it here when I first received the motorcycle.

I am located in Augusta, GA. I may be able to work out delivery within a reasonable distance, but only with payment in advance.
Shipment is at buyer's coordination and expense.

Asking is $2900 OBO
