CB360 swingarm tab grinding

Hello
Can anyone confirm if the circled tabs are needed, if not I'm gonna grind them.

I think the right tab is the bracket for chain guard which I don't plan on running so can I loose it?

What's the tab on the left? Some kind of chain guide, is it needed?

Yes both are for chain guard.

In fact someone was kind enough to break off one of those flappy tabs for you already.
