Removing front fender from CB450K6 - shorter brake lines?

Hey guys, I've got a CB450K6 that I'm slowly working on, and I think I want to remove the front fender. The only thing holding me back at the moment is the front brake line. It feeds through an eyelet attached to the fender, and I'm worried that if I remove the fender, the brake line will be able to flop around.

What is the standard procedure on brake lines, for those of us that want to remove the front fender. Does the eyelet go somewhere else? Buy a shorter brake line?

The front fender acts a stabilizing brace for the forks. You don't want to remove it. Paint it satin black. You'll barely be able to see it.

Removing front fenders is stupid. It creates other issues as you have encountered. There's no good reason to remove it, only bad reasons.

You could swap it out with another bikes if you didn't like the satin black paint job. I have a 92 nighthawk on mine and it looks better than the original

82 Honda CB900C is my first attempt of a bike upgrade
