Non leather riding Jacket?

It has the coolest space age material for shoulder/elbow/back protection. They give you a little sample to mess with. It's pliable like silly putty but instantly hardens when impacted.

Ah - the page you linked indicated that there was a back pocket, but I didn't see that it came with the 3D0 stuff. I have gloves with that built in, it's definitely pretty cool.

We popped over to the Vespa shop to try on the corazzo jackets. It is def a size up from what you would normally wear. Unfortunately they did not have any of the styles I was interested in :( I would have probably bought one too. I was "in the mood".

Ah, bummer. Ask for Michael if ya go back next week...he can order in anything. They were also running a 20% off in-stock inventory as well. I think my jacket came to $226.00 shipped to Cincy.

Just scored a SMOKIN' good deal. Same exact jacket (5.0) except in grey w/ black stripe on eBay. Not sure what I'll do with both, but Im stoked.

head down to your local thrift shop and grab a thick denim. truly vintage, and the old ones are high enough quality they might actually stand up to a few dumps

That's not very reassuring to the prospective buyer...you bought two and don't want to hold onto either? Why not?

Canuck, I seriously doubt whether any denim jacket, thick or not, will hold up to being abraded on a pavement slide, much less a few. I'd rather have it than be naked, and have no criticism of people who wear them...hell, I ride in a polo shirt sometimes...but I wouldn't have any illusions that it'd keep me from road rash.

Because I bought their leather one! And I'm only looking to sell one of the two so ill have a textile and a leather one! :)

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but thought I would leave this here for folks who peruse this thread in the future: http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/roland-sands-design-tracker-jacket

Wow i was all excited about that jacket til i saw the price. Never heard of wax cotton how durable is it to road rash? Hard to tell in the video but i wonder if it looks like a plastic vinyl/pleather in person? Its pretty neat though. The cost of the jacket plus having to buy the rest of the armor separate from what i understand kind of kills it.

I was really looking into this one. not too bad for the price and should hold up a little better than a thift store denim jacket

Designer jacket will demand a designer price. Like the creator of the thread I hate the modern look of most non-leather riding jackets, but I'm not a denim fan either.

Since the thread is open again- I know a lot of you are not denim fans, but...
I wear a AGV denim kevlar jacket. It's light, feels and looks like a normal denim jacket, and has kevlar lining and armor pockets. My one complaint is it fits a bit wide, which is too bad since I'm a skinny little guy. The little extra width is great for layering though in these colder months...

Best part is that it's under $100...

My favorite part is this
"Made to match the AGV Sport Shadow Kevlar Jeans."

you know,
Just in case you need a matching denim jumpsuit.

I'd rock it. I'm not scared of girl's clothes. And only $595 at Barney's NY! Bet it's not CE-approved at that price, though.

Non leather riding Jacket?

Someone, right now, is actually wearing that and feeling good about themselves.

Closeout for $69, might be worth the gamble.
