rear wheel bearings

Hi guys, thought id check out the rear wheel on the ace this morning as lots of posts refer to plenty of problems in this area. Well, mines got just on 2 thousand kilometers on the clock and the rear wheel bearings are as rough as a bears arse, cush drive bushes are worn and i have a number of loose spokes. This is defo an area for concern so have just got two bearings from a local supplier for £5 each of hugely better quality, going to get some genuine honda cushdrives and ill give the loose spokes a tweek. Hopefully that will sort the back end out. Im going to do the same with the front wheel bearing in an effort to de chinese the bike a little in the name of safety! Well worth a check before your left stranded or worse!! Cheers Dave!

I wonder if this is why they put bigger bearings in the lastest model? Ta 4 the heads up!

I hope they have upped their quality more than size, they were dreadful. Going to do the front regardless for peace of mind.
