Opinions wanted: Contrasting nickle/silver frame a bad idea against the OD green?  (with alloy tail, rims, chrome bars, and more bright bits than are on there now.)

This frame may not be the most beautiful piece of metalwork on earth, but I did love the way the old Rickman scrambler and Trackmaster flat track frames I saw at Barber looked in nickle, so I started to think.

Nickel is amazing looking, and if I wasn't poor white trash, my chopper frame would have that finish.

Having raced a couple of Rickman scramblers back in the seventies I have to agree the frames where beautiful. I enjoyed hours cleaning them. If you can afford it go for it.

Any reason not to use the electroless nickel process?  Hoping for some quotes next week.  Guessing they will scare me to powder coat options.

Electroless nickel works better than electroplating.  It results in a more even thickness and gets into places electroplating would never touch.
