You'll probably get pissed off with tach in that position pretty quick. Beemer is great bike to work on. there were plenty of 'Endurance racers' around back then (although mainly 750 & 1000) so all the 'work' on what needs doing to 'CAFE' it has been done
Why is that? It doesn't hit my knee, wont be turning to lock while riding really. Not super concerned with being able to see it while riding as I can feel/hear engine rpm anyway.

All that work on the Honda and everyone loves the BMW.

Well, I have two BMW motorcycles.  I also have a 360, sooooo.   ;)
After mocking up the subframe of the BMW I might like it too. Hahaha. Too bad it's being built for a friend
