M unit power cable

Quick question can I use a smaller size cable for powering the m unit ??as I'm running wire through frame.

Probably. The supplied cable is thicker than needed for most bikes. Unless you're installing on an HD or something with fuel injection, you can drop it all the way down to 14 gauge if needed. 12 (or even 10) would be better though.
