Ok folks,
I am usually more active on SOHC4.net but they have come up dry on this one for suggestions.
I have a 78 CB550k with:
550f pipes,
550f rear brake lever to fit around the pipes,
550K kickstart.
The kickstart scrapes down the brake lever as it is more outset from the body of the bike to fit around the 4into1 pipes.
I am wondering if anyone knows of an alternate kickstart lever with the same splines that is perhaps a little shorter and would work this out? Otherwise I'm going to have to just get hold of a kickstart and bend it (a mechanic already tried that after I told him not to... blowtorch and bend, it looks like crap now and also he didn't bend it enough HURRAY)
anyway, suggestions would be welcome!
ps, getting a 550f kickstart as I originally planned would not work. The kickstart requires footpegs that fold in for it to be kicked, which only mount to spots on the 550f frame.
