Nice thank you! I couldn’t find those. Looks like the second one is in a us warehouse. I think I’ll wait until the end of the day and see if any show up. If not I’ll order that one. Thanks again!

That's unusual for a camshaft to crack. Are you sure it's a crack and not just a casting line?

Ya this is embarrassing to admit but I cracked it tightening down the points cam. So stupid. In my defense it didn’t take much at all to crack. Prob a half turn over contact. Every other bolt on engine was meticulously torqued to spec and i lost my mind on this one.

If the crack is contained to the end of the shaft, it may be possible to braze it together - if it broke off completely that may be more difficult.

Ya it just broke off today taking the points off. In better news I found one on eBay from a guy who was selling a whole engine. I messaged everyone with a full engine and he took me up on my offer. Sending it across the country tomorrow.

I've repaired one by bolting broken off piece back on. Not too much extra work as I 'gun drilled' it for oil flow and used an Allen bolt from right side. It's only an experiment and may need a small section o-ring under points cam as I don't know how well ''Loctite' will seal the 'crack'? The alternative would be to make a new extension of larger diameter with flange and screw/pin it in place but I thought I would try the easy way first
