76 cb750 starter button grounded to handlebar?

I already asked earlier about a cb360 but was wondering if a 76 cb750 starter button also was grounded to frame? Thinking about getting painted bars. Thanks much.

no. starter button connects black (hot) with red/yellow. no ground what so evah
