Here's the scoop:

1. Nominate one of our member's bike for Bike of the Month - include some flattering pictures of the bike in question as well as a link to their build thread if they have one and their DTT user name.

2. Someone seconds the nomination (please only second one nomination)

3. Member has to accept the nomination

We will accept nominations until we get a reasonable number of nominees (5-10 or so).

Then a poll will be set up and voting will take place for the remainder of the month. Whoever ends the voting period with the most votes wins :)

As a reward, we will use a picture of the winner's bike on the site banner for the following month.

There are PLENTY of deserving bikes, and I'm confident each month we will see lots of nominations.

Let the games begin! Post your nominations / seconds / acceptances here. Please don't clutter this thread up with your supporting posts :)

I'll second "Red Molly".

And I nominate his buddy Joe's '84 Moto Guzzi.

The only other DDT bikes I've seen in person, and both works of art.

This bike is rad. Very well done. First build I followed on here. Nate told me hes working on a 350four now. We gotta get him back on the site!

Should try to get some better photos out of him too. Seems like that really helps FTW.

Remember folks - just post up your nominations here - you can start pitching for your fave when I make up the voting thread.

Thanks hotfunk and ccrider! I stopped by to check out what you guys have been up to lately to find this... I am honored that you guys feel that my bike is in a class with the other bikes nominated. And congrats with the completion with each of your projects.

BTW - Took old red out for an 20 degree neighborhood terror last night. Stabil is for the weak...

Later,

Byrd

These are the best pics I could find, but I bet Dave has some cool ones stashed away! ;D

Dave has built an XS650 2 Up Bobber/Brat that he's been cruisin' around on for the last year or so. ::) It's cool too, but this one really Rocks! 8) 8)

The last post on Dave's build thread was posted on March 4, 2009 (around 25 pages back!), so many of you might not have seen this bike before. Here's the thread, FYI. Check it! 8)

No problem Dave! BTW, I got you the same gift I got you last Christmas! ::) :D :D

Post any other cool shots you have of the "XS Transformation" Dave! 8)

Whoa! Hadn't been here in a while (working on other projects). Saw this and my jaw dropped, thanks for the nomination. There has been some changes that I need to post. Like the seat padding upholstered , yet another style of mufflers, stone guard(finally!), and 304 stainless drum brake arm straps. Also ditched the starter and it's parts. I'll update the build tomorrow night!
