CB450 Rear brake rod. Why cant i find any?

I am in search of a new rear brake rod for my CB450 however i cant seem to find one online! Am i searching for the wrong thing what should i do? can i make one? Please point me in the proper direction

Timed myself and found 3 on eBay in 27 seconds. Cheapest one:

I also saw some on ebay just a $14 shipping just seems ridiculous

It's a good deal.

I could go make one from dowel stock and a clevis left over from other brake parts in an hour or so, but that would cost $70 an hour plus materials and shipping, the rod is too long for most real cheap shipping so likely $12-15.

My best guess would be somewhere in the hood of $100 shipped... unpainted for a one off.
