Excellence does not demand perfection.
Hi Guys, howdo from sunny Norfolk UK. Great site, I've been lurking on here for a while now, but have been looking for the right bike to come my way before signing up.

This is my new shitter critter, a 1981 Honda CB250RS complete with a classic Rickman Tempest fairing and Nonfango (love that name) topbox. 51k miles on the clock, this has been one real unloved hack. I picked it up last night and unloaded it this morning and she fired up second kick. I've been wazzing around the garden on her this morning, all works but does need a new battery (will try to recover whats on it first)

Notice how the beautiful bodywork is enhanced by the rustic green patina.

It's got more added plastic than Katie Price.

The plan is to get her back on the road, ride her through the summer then decide on what I'm going to do with her. Most likely tracker style, the CB250RS should be perfect for this light and agile single that's a blast to ride. Lots of good quiet, tight and twisty back roads around here and up to the coast of North Norfolk and I think an upright rural tracker style would be a hoot to ride. This bike needs to be fun. ;D

I'll start on a thread on the recommisioning and keep you all posted.

Wish me luck, cheers, Gumper.
