I agree with the volvo, also alpha gtvs are bad ass. E30 bmw 3 wagons are cool but hard to find. Since no one posted a pic of the volvo here you go.

i am a big fan of 240sx, but if it where me i would get a porsche 944 turbo... in a heartbeat! they are cheap to find, bulletproof, still a porsche... soon as i finish my truck in may ill have on in my driveway... pick one up around 5 G, drop 2 more into rims, tires, suspension, brakes, and tune up have a sick ass car!

but what about a Jeep Wranger YJ? i loved mine... wish i still had it! jeeps are always classic!

this one is listing for $2800

guess im not the only 944 lover! great cars.... if i were to get one and get the handling squared away i would go on to find a way to swap in a 1uzfe motor with a w56 tranny.... oh, and dual turbo, of course. how i would fit it in there? i have no fucking idea.

but god damn, that will be one hell of a ride.

I was a car ride away from buying an 86 or 87 non turbo 944.

The reason I wouldn't buy one now is how much more I know about them.

1) If the oil is JUST below the "fill" line on the dip stick, your engines done and you cant re bore it.
2) Engine mounds like to go, not an easy job.
3) Clutches like to stick, not an easy job.
4) Timing belt or chain (which ever it was) requires special expencive tools/ not an easy job.

Most of all, if I get over my head, the nearest Porsche dealer is over three hours away and I'm stuck with a broken car that nobody knows how to work on.

Yes, I know how special the 944 is in regards to weight and balance. I LOVE the way it looks but I wouldn't buy one now.

If I got anything like that, It would need to be an old 'Rocco.

This a classic yet?
