I'm not going t9 take the ginder to them either when I detab the frame they kids match the factory welds. I actually found a piece of mig wire on the swingarm forgotten by kawasaki
Have you welded the swingarm pivot to the frame? If not, you should because over time when the bearings wear / collapse you will have movement there and it will eventually break the rear hardtail somewhere.
If it was me I have taken out the swingarm and just welded in a conventional style hardtail.
Got the front end together again to get a look. Haven't repacked the bearings yet. Will do that after the frame has been finished. Tanks still needs some work but it think it's looking pretty good.
Got the rear hoop.and supports in all sleeved 2 and a half inches rear plastic is just resting there. Have the shock mounts to weld on then remove tabs and get her painted. got brand new rings and made my own gaskets. So engine is going to be cleaned and put back together
