Fabricating parts and nose bleeds - Funny/Lighthearted mishaps

So, I've started to love fabricating stuff myself for my bike. I made my own wiring harness for the rear end, new headlight brackets, and the new ignition switch housing. However, early on in this process I made one small mistake.

Using a wheel grinder I didn't have a good enough grip on the piece I was working on. It flew out of my hands and, through a process that would make Rube Goldberg proud, caused a rake in the garage to smack me right in the nose.

Just wondering if anyone else had any funny mishap stories of their own while futzing around with their bikes.
