cb200 back to the cafe "lola"

I will mate definitely as I'm thinking it will cause me grief,

I just got the new friction plates and springs delivered on Friday so ill be putting them in soon that, just awaiting the outcome of the trex and that will determine the time frame i can get stuck into replacing the clutch and fixing the timing.

trust me crazy I will be shouting out for help sooner rather then later

will have to get some of the boys(DTT/SCR) around for a BBQ/Yamaha muck around soon

Cleaned out the oil filter and the usual amount of fine particles came off. Nothing to bad. Although I did find this bit of black plastic (in pic above) unsure where that came from? Hmmm

Cam chain tensioner ? Think that's the only piece of plastic inside the engine.

I hope not as I replaced that when I rebuilt the top end. But it wouldn't surprise me if it was sitting in the sump from the old one. Think you may be right Andy fingers crossed its off the old I ripped out.

Glad the new clutch is workign for you, and going to give you good juju that the plastic was stuck in there from the "Old" tensioner too. Nice work, nothing worse then mistery bits in the oil though.

New front and rear sprocket on their way.
Trialing a 16t/35t set up thanks to the website texasstar

I'm running 17/35 on the 'Ace' now; it's certainly helped the top speed, without doing too much harm to acceleration.

Crazy
