My,my.That is a real gem. An Ariel Square 4.Havent seen one of those in a long time. Great vintage bike with one serious flaw--back 2 cylinders suffered from lack of air flow thus leading to burnt valves ,etc. But a great looking classic nonetheless. Somebody should jump on this.bj

Agreed. It is something you don't see every day. Very rare, indeed.
 
Um, is that a square four? All the square fours I've seen have 4 pipes, 1 per cylinder, coming out 2 per side of the motor. Earlier model perhaps? I don't know much about them tho.
 
Ha! Wild, I just saw one in person for the first time today. Fucking idiot I am, I think it's the only bike I didn't get a picture of. It did have 4 pipes as I recall.
 
Ah ok, thanks for that bit. Guess the 53's are all I pay attention to then.
