Whoops, what happened to cause that?

Wish I knew. Was tinkering trying to get the thing to take a bit of throttle (dies when I crack it open, but revs OK if I roll on slowly) and I just hear a loud crack from the front. Then the coolant starts trickling out.

its happened to a few CX owners, the fan can come apart after so many years and take out the rad.
Rads can be had from Fleabay and replacement fans are available that will give you many years of service
