Something I just realized.

The original factory head gasket doesnt even have the metal ring around the cylinder. :mad:

The new one does and its HUGE!!! :)

Looks like there was problem and they redesigned that gasket.

Dug through my "super secret, double probation, backup emergency, spare stash and...BOOM! I recall getting it for super cheap on ebay. While hunting deck bushings a season or two back.

HA! not a new build. 1980 CM200. I bought last year for Rachel. She hasnt been riding it. But I have. A super little machine.

double cut the whole acre. 3.5" & again at 3". I think the head gasket is gonna work. :)
